Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and general protection claims.
- Advise on employment-related documents like contracts, executive arrangements, and workplace policies.
- Navigate employment law compliance and develop client-centric strategies.
- Manage litigation in State and Federal Courts, Tribunals, and Commissions.
- Facilitate alternative dispute resolution techniques such as mediation and conciliation.
- Deliver training programs on employment matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor junior lawyers to build their expertise and confidence.
- Drive business development initiatives and enhance client relationships.
- Contribute to the firm’s learning resources including precedents and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
About You To excel in this role, you will:
- Have 7+ years PQE with demonstrated experience in employment and safety law.
- Be commercially minded and practical in your approach.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in client management, business development, and mentoring.
