We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to step into a parental leave contract within a highly regarded Employment, Labour & Safety team in Brisbane. You will work closely with a market-leading specialist in workplace and safety law, and be involved in complex and high-stakes employment matters across various industries.
This role offers the chance to engage in both advisory and contentious matters, supporting clients in sectors such as aviation, rail, mining, logistics, finance, health, education, and government.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Senior Associate-level experience in employment, labour, and safety law
- A generalist employment law background, covering both contentious and advisory work
- The ability to manage complex workplace matters with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Experience in public sector matters (highly regarded but not essential)
