Are you ready to be valued in your role and have purpose in your career? This law firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential support, becoming the true backbone of the office. This is a great step up for law students or career Legal Administrators eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.

If you have 12 months of administration experience and a proactive, detail-oriented approach, we want to hear from you! In this role, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager, supporting a busy team and providing critical support across all areas within a dynamic environment.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Reception & Client Service: Answering phones, welcoming clients, and creating a positive first impression for everyone who enters the office.
  • Calendar & Appointment Management: Scheduling appointments and booking travel, conferences, and events as required.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with billing, compiling briefs, preparing correspondence, scanning, and maintaining hard copy and digital files.
  • Court Filing & Document Preparation: Assisting with legal filings, document collation, and binding, as well as creating and converting documents.
  • Mail & Courier Management: Collecting and preparing mail each day, handling deliveries, and organising couriers.
  • Meeting Room Setup & Maintenance: Setting up boardrooms for meetings, ensuring water and glassware are available, and managing video and phone conferencing arrangements.
  • Office & Kitchen Upkeep: Tidying common areas, including the kitchen and boardroom, and handling dishwasher duties.
Additionally, you will be trained in office management duties, developing skills to help maintain smooth operations in the Practice Manager’s absence.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Professional, corporate presentation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to help out wherever needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with accuracy
  • Experience with EvolveGo and Law Docs (highly regarded)
