The Opportunity
As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you’ll oversee a diverse range of intricate family law matters, including:
  • Dispute Resolution – Guiding clients through mediation, arbitration, and collaborative law to achieve tailored solutions.
  • Divorce & Separation – Advising on legal complexities, limitation periods, and de facto relationship determinations.
  • Property & Financial Settlements – Managing high-net-worth property disputes, business and trust structures, third-party interests, and superannuation arrangements.
  • Family Violence – Representing clients in domestic violence cases and intervention order proceedings.
  • Children & Parenting – Resolving parenting arrangements in the best interests of the child, including for grandparents and other family members.
  • International Family Law – Handling cross-border family law issues relating to marriage, divorce, child custody, and financial settlements.

  • 6+ years of post-admission experience in Family Law
  • Strong technical ability and strategic mindset
  • Excellent client management and negotiation skills

  • Accreditation in Family Law is highly regarded, but if you’re working towards it, this firm will invest in your success.
