We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Contract Administrators for multiple temporary contracts that will see you work through to Christmas, with the strong possibility for extension. 
 
As a Specialist working with a notable employer in the education sector, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and agreements. This position ensures that all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and organisation standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the triage of contracts and agreements to assess requirements for legal and administrative contracts management;
  • Manage standard contract, agreements and subcontracts from initial negotiation with external partners to execution;
  • Ensure stakeholder completion of schedules to agreements, and their full understanding of contractual milestones and other researcher obligations;
  • Provide guidance for stakeholders with budget preparation, consistent with organisation's policies and procedures; 
  • Case management of research agreements and contracts;
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the organisation's records of contracts and agreements;
  • Assist with the coordination of instructions to Legal Services.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications or progress towards tertiary qualifications is highly regarded;
  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Contract Administration; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education; 
  • Demonstrated skills in contract administration, negotiation and management.
  • Experience within the education or research sector will be well received.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
Qualified Lawyers may be considered for this role, however, it is not a pre-requisite whereas current or prior experience in a contracts administration or contracts managerial capacity is.
